Janu Patel, DO

Dr. Janu Patel is joining North Coast Family Medical Group in 2026 after practicing on California’s Central Coast. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Pitzer College through an accelerated medical program before receiving her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, California.

Dr. Patel is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is passionate about preventive medicine, helping patients optimize their health through evidence-based care and osteopathic principles that support the body’s natural healing processes. She incorporates hands-on osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) to improve function, relieve pain, and promote recovery for a wide range of conditions.

She has a special interest in women’s health, integrating conventional medicine with complementary therapies to provide personalized care for women throughout every stage of life. She believes the best care begins by listening to her patients and working together to develop treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and lifestyle.

Outside of the office, Dr. Patel enjoys hiking, surfing, painting, plant-based cooking, and spending time at the beach with her husband and their dog, Chamchi.
