Dr. Lisa Corsentino joined NCFMG in September 2021.
Dr. Lisa Corsentino joined NCFMG in September 2021, after working in an underserved clinic at My Chula Vista Doctors for 8 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at UC Irvine, then she attended Western University of Health Sciences to achieve her Osteopathic Medical Degree. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at UC Irvine, serving as Chief Resident. While serving as the Department of Family Medicine Obstetrics Coordinator at UC San Diego, she assisted, taught, and trained the medical students and residents in gynecology and women’s health care. Along with practicing full spectrum Primary Care, she had been averaging 10 deliveries per month and then continuing to care for these women and children. Her medical services were next applied at Sharp-Rees-Stealy in Carmel Valley. Dr. Corsentino is Board Certified in Family Medicine, proficient in Spanish and has special interest and training in Women’s Healthcare, Pediatrics, gynecology/colposcopy, joint injections, dermatologic office-based procedures. She enjoys spending time with her husband Paul and their 4 children, cheering her children at volleyball and lacrosse games, running along the beach, cooking, traveling, gardening, and being active at their church. Dr. Corsentino feels blessed to be able to educate, care, and connect with the whole family, from newborns to the elderly. She encourages, supports, and helps equip her patients to seek a healthy, well-balanced intentional lifestyle, with a goal for optimal emotional and physical well-being and health.
