Dr. Susan M. Glockner is board certified in Family Practice and Sports Medicine. She began her career with NCFMG in 1992 while undergoing her Sports Medicine Fellowship at UCSD. Previously, she graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University, attended UCSD Medical School, and completed her family practice residency at Santa Monica Hospital. She is passionate about holistic approaches to care, blending medicine with lifestyle change. She is a past president of the California Academy of Family Physicians Foundation and has been a volunteer instructor at UCSD Medical School.

From 2007 to 2017, she worked part-time in community clinics while raising her children. Now that they’ve moved to the East Coast, she and her husband have plenty of time to spoil their dog as empty nesters. Dr. Glockner and her husband have lived in Encinitas for more than 25 years, although she gets away often to explore through travel and outdoor adventures such as skiing, backpacking and SCUBA diving. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and training for triathlons.
