Amy Kakimoto, M.D.
Began practicing at NCFMG in 2008 after completing her Sports Medicine Fellowship.
Dr. Amy Kakimoto joined North Coast Family Medical Group in June 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at UCLA and completed her medical training at UCSD School of Medicine. She received her residency training in Family Medicine at UCSD. Dr. Kakimoto is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. She particularly enjoys caring for athletes of all ages and types, arthritis care, pediatric care, as well as Women’s Health and many in-office procedures. She enjoys traveling to new places, cooking and spending time with her husband and three children.
